This page explains which personal data eurojackpotdb.com processes, why, for how long we keep it and what rights you have. The site lets you browse the EuroJackpot archive and statistics: it does not require registration and does not ask you to enter personal data.

2. What data we process and why
Browsing data
When you visit the site, our servers (and those of the protection and content delivery service described below) automatically record some technical information: IP address, date and time of the request, requested page, result, browser type and operating system, referring site. It is needed to run the site, keep it secure and detect errors and abuse. It is not used to identify or profile you.
Usage statistics (only with your consent)
If, and only if, you accept it in the banner, we use Google Analytics 4 (ID G-5XLGMDKZSN), a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand in aggregate form which pages are most useful and how to improve the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects data such as pages visited, visit duration, device and browser type, language and approximate origin. We have turned off advertising features and ad personalization (Google Signals) and denied all advertising consent. Until you consent, the Google Analytics script is not even loaded. You can change your mind at any time (see the Cookie Policy).
Advertising (only with your consent)
If, and only if, you accept it in the banner, the site shows advertisements served by Google AdSense, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, which helps finance the site. To show and measure ads and, depending on your choices, to personalize them, Google sets and reads cookies and similar identifiers and receives data such as your IP address, browser and device information, the pages you view and how you interact with ads. Until you consent, the AdSense script is not loaded and no advertising cookies are set. Consent is optional: if you refuse, you can use the site without any limitation, and you can withdraw it at any time (see the Cookie Policy). Record of cookie choices
To be able to demonstrate whether you have given consent, as required by art. 7(1) GDPR, we record each of your choices with: a random identifier generated in your browser, the choice made, the version of the notice shown, the language and the date. We do not record your IP address, and the identifier alone does not allow us to identify you.
Site tools
The numbers you enter in the "Check your combination" and "Check a win" tools, and those produced by the combination generator, are only used to calculate the result shown on screen: they are not stored in any archive or linked to you. They may pass through the site's temporary technical memory for as long as needed to process the request.
Emails
If you write to us we process your email address and the information in your message in order to reply.
Restricted area
Access to the administration area is reserved to people authorized by the Controller: for them we process a username, email address and a technical session cookie. Visitors cannot register.

3. Who may receive the data
We do not sell the data or pass it to third parties for their own purposes. It may be processed, as processors or technical service providers, by:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States), which protects the site from attacks and speeds up delivery: traffic to the site goes through its servers.
- Google Ireland Limited (Ireland), for Google Analytics 4, only if you gave consent.
- Google Ireland Limited (Ireland), for Google AdSense advertising, only if you gave consent.
- Sectigo Limited (United Kingdom), for storing site backups.
- Staff and collaborators authorized by the Controller who manage the infrastructure and maintenance of the site.
Data may also be disclosed to the competent authorities where required by law.
4. Transfers outside the European Union
Some providers, in particular Cloudflare and Google, may also process data in the United States. Transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision for companies certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or, failing that, on the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission. For the United Kingdom (Sectigo) the European Commission's adequacy decision applies. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards adopted by writing to the address above.
5. Your rights
At any time you can exercise the rights provided by articles 15-22 GDPR:
- access your data and obtain a copy;
- have it rectified or completed;
- ask for its erasure ("right to be forgotten");
- ask for restriction of processing;
- receive the data in a structured format (portability) where applicable;
- object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal: use the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page.
To exercise them write to [email protected]. We reply within one month of the request (extendable in complex cases) and, where necessary, we may ask you to verify your identity. Because the consent record does not contain data that directly identifies you, to link a choice to you we may ask for the identifier stored in the ejdb_consent cookie.
If you believe the processing breaches the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Italy the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or the authority of the EU country where you live or work.
6. Other information
Whether providing data is compulsory
To browse you are not required to provide any data, other than the technical data your browser sends automatically. Consent to analytics cookies is optional: if you refuse it you can use the site without any limitation.
No profiling
We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces effects on you.
The only exception is advertising: if you consent to advertising cookies, Google may use the data collected to personalize the ads shown to you, under its own privacy policy.
Minors
The site deals with a game reserved to persons aged 18 or over and is not intended for minors: we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to this notice
We may update this notice, for example for new features or changes in the law. The date at the top shows the latest revision; for substantial changes we will ask for your cookie preferences again.
